Is scoil Chaitliceach í Scoil an Aingil Choimhéadaí faoi phátrúnacht an tEaspag de Ráth Bhoth.
Cuirimid oideachas d’ardcaighdeán ar fáil do pháistí, trí mheán na Gaeilge, i dtimpeallacht thacúil, a thugann deis do gach páiste barr a gcumas a bhaint amach. Mar chuid den oideachas sin, déantar cúram d’fhorbairt acadúil, chúltúrtha, mhóralta, fhisiciúil, shibhialta, spioradálta, mhothúchánach agus shoisialta na bpáistí .

Scoil an Aingil Choimhéadaí is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Raphoe. We are committed to providing a high-quality education through the medium of Irish in a caring, supportive, and inclusive environment, where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. Our approach to education values the holistic development of each child, nurturing their academic, cultural, moral, physical, civic, spiritual, emotional, and social growth. Central to the life of our school is a deep respect for our religious heritage, culture, and language, alongside a strong commitment to promoting dignity, equality, and respect for the rights of all people.

GAELTACHT RECOGNITION SCHEME

Tá áit lárnach ag an Ghaeilge agus ag an chultúr Gaelach i saol na scoile agus cuirtear oideachais ar ardchaighdeán trí mheán na Gaeilge ar fáil do na páistí uilig. Mar scoil Ghaeltachta, lán-tumtha, múintear na hábhair uile trí mheán na Gaeilge, seachas an Béarla. Bhain muid aitheantas oifigiúil amach mar scoil Ghaeltachta in 2024, rud a léiríonn ár dtiomantas leanúnach don sár-mhaitheas san oideachas Gaeilge. Is muid an t-aon scoil ghaeltachta sa cheantar seo rud atá muid thar a bheith bródúil as.

 

The Irish language and culture are at the heart of daily life in our school. We provide a high-quality Irish-medium education to all our pupils, fostering a strong love and respect for our language and heritage. As a fully immersive Gaeltacht school, all subjects are taught through Irish, with the sole exception of English. We proudly achieved official recognition as a Gaeltacht school in 2024, reflecting our ongoing commitment to excellence in Irish-language education. We are the only Galetacht school in this area, something which we are very proud of.

The school is quite simply remarkable. The standard of education on offer is just excellent. The resources, the low pupil to teacher ratios, the extra curricular and cultural activities. Having the morning club from 08.20 and afterschool club to 18.00 has been a huge bonus too. We moved our daughter to the school to do her final year (6th class) and just we cannot believe how she is thriving , she is fluent in Irish having only started in September and is going on to continue her studies in secondary school as Gaelige. I would recommend Keadue National School/Scoil an Aingil Choimhéadaí to anyone who likes the idea of small classes, supportive and caring environment, with a focus on academic as well as personal growth for the kids through the medium of Irish. It was the best decision we made to move home from California to send the kids to Keadue National School
I couldn’t say enough about this school , a fabulous environment for our kids to learn and grow , with the highest standard of education and Irish immersion education has been an absolute gift and pure joy to watch the children become fluent before our eyes.
